The treatment

The bright light reaches our brain, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, pineal gland in the form of electrical impulses through the eye and the optic nerves influencing our autonomic nervous and endocrine systems.  This stimulation consequently has a direct impact on our physical, emotional and mental state.

High melatonin levels, which usually occur when the days get shorter – are lowered and this leads to a significant improvement in the so-called “winter blues”.
